What you need

cup jalapeno

tbsp chinese five spice

cup water

cup cucumber

tbsp rice vinegar

cup honey

cup mayonnaise

cup sugar
cup cornstarch

cup lime juice

cup hoisin sauce
pork belly

cup sriracha hot sauce

cup sweet chili sauce

cup baby carrots

baguette
cup daikon
Instructions
Step 1: Add the pork belly to the skewer and make slices on two opposite sides. Step 2: Combine the 5 spices with the cornstarch and coat the pork belly. Heat oil to 350 degrees F and fry the pork belly for about 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy. Set aside. Step 3: Combine the water, vinegar, and sugar in a saucepan on medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Add it to a heat-proof container with the carrots and daikon and let sit for 5 minutes for a quick pickle. Step 4: In a tall container, combine the hoisin, sriracha, honey, and lime juice. Submerge the pork belly making sure it’s fully coated. Step 5: Assemble the sandwich. Slice the baguette in half (toast if you’d like). Place the pickled vegetables down followed by the sliced cucumbers and jalapenos. Add the sauce on top followed by the pork belly.View original recipe
