Bacon Cheeseburger Donut

1. Start with a 1/4 pound patty of 80/20 ground beef.
2. Add the patty to a medium-high frying pan and season heavily with salt.
3. Cook the patty to your liking, add one slice of cheddar cheese on top, and remove from heat.
4. Place another slice of cheddar cheese on top of a soft hamburger bun and then place the cooked burger patty on top.
5. Add a few slices of bacon, making sure to keep the middle open.
6. Add some ketchup and mustard to the top bun and press it into the burger to flatten it out.
7. Using a small cookie cutter, cut out the middle of the assembled burger to create a donut shape.
8. Submerge the burger in a bowl of beaten eggs and then completely cover it in panko breadcrumbs.
9. Fry the burger in a shallow pan of cooking oil at 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes per side, or air fry at 370°F (188°C) for 5 minutes per side.
