Grilled Caesar Salad with Kings Hawaiian Croutons
20 mins prepServes 4
This recipe features a unique twist on the classic Caesar salad by grilling Romaine lettuce and using Kings Hawaiian dinner rolls to make croutons, all topped with a homemade creamy Caesar dressing.
Slice a head of Romaine lettuce in half. Drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat a grill to 500 degrees F. and grill the lettuce cut side down for 5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Set aside. Dice some Kings Hawaiian dinner rolls and toss them in olive oil and a pinch of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook at 425 degrees F, for 5 minutes. For the caesar dressing, combine 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of dijon mustard, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and Worcestershire, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese and salt and pepper in a bowl. Dress the grilled Romaine in the croutons and dressing, and cover in grated parmesan cheese.
