Grilled Cheese Shot Glass with Tomato Soup
15 mins prepServes 1
Grilled cheese and tomato soup go together like shots and munchies. So, because it's #NationalGrilledCheeseDay, I thought I would combine the two. I present you with the Grilled Cheese Shot Glass with Tomato Soup.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Step 1: Toast the bread. Step 2: Using a shot glass or cookie cutter or some other type of circular cutting apparatus, cut a hole in the center of 5 slices of bread. Step 3: Stack the bread on top of one another and using a knife, cut the bread into a shot glass/cup shape. Step 4: Cut a hole in 4 slices of the cheese. Step 5: Place the piece of bread that doesn't have a hole as the base. Start with layering the cheese without the hole on top of the base. Then layer each piece of cheese alternating between bread. Step 6: Put the sandwich in the oven for about 7 minutes or until the cheese melts. Step 7: Take the sandwich out of the oven and fill the hole with tomato soup, garnish with chopped basil.
