Instructions

Peel and boil 1/2 pound of Yukon gold (or any yellow waxy potatoes) for 15 minutes. Mash them in a bowl and combine them with 1/4 cup of corn starch, 2 teaspoons of onion salt, and two teaspoons of garlic powder. When they are no longer hot, place the potatoes in a ziploc bag and snip the tip. Squeeze out a spiral shape on a piece of parchment paper. Heat 2 cups of cooking oil to 375 degrees F. Add the potato and cook for 2 minutes. Flip the potato over and cook for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and enjoy.
