Steak and Cheese Pull Apart Bread with Chimichurri
45 mins prepServes 6
This recipe features thinly sliced marinated rib eye steak and provolone cheese stuffed into a pull-apart bread loaf, baked until bubbly, and topped with fresh chimichurri.
Semi freeze a boneless rib eye steak and cut it super thin. Add the steak to a ziploc bag. For the marinade, add 1/4 cup of worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of onion powder and a teaspoon of salt and pepper in a bowl. Add the marinade to the ziploc bag with the steak and let it sit at room temperature for roughly 30 minutes. Cut wedges along the side of the pull-apart bread, going from the center to the edge, making sure not to cut it all the way through. Wrap a piece of marinated steak with a slice of provolone and fit it inside each one of the cut wedges. To the center hole, add a couple slices of provolone and a couple more slices of steak. Bake in a 425 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese starts to bubble. Add some chimichurri on top and enjoy.
