pinch salt

tbsp montreal steak seasoning

slice process american cheese

onion

Instructions
Step 1: Melt 2 tbsp of salted butter on a large pan and add the sliced onions. Season with salt and mix well on medium for about 10 minutes or until the onions have a light brown color and are slightly see through. Step 2: If your steak is already about an inch thick use a meat tenderizer and hit it a few times. If it’s not, slice it in half and then hit it a few times. Season with Montreal steak spice and pan fry on high heat for about 2 minutes per side. Step 3: Melt 1 tsp of butter on a small pan and add the beaten egg. Cook on low heat and when the egg sets on top, flip over the sides to create the folded egg. Place a piece of American cheese on top and let the residual heat melt the cheese. FOR THE SAUCE Step 4: Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Step 5: Toast the bagels and hit each side with butter. To build the sandwich, add a slice of American cheese on the bottom bagel. Place the steak on top followed by some sauteed onions. Place the folded egg and cheese on top of the onions and add the sauce. Place the Crown side of the bagel on top and enjoy.View original recipe
